Story
Known in its current form in Poland, at least since thirteenth century, Polish lowland shepherd most likely comes from bullets and cattle dogs.
Initially, they were bred for grazing and protection. Polish lowland shepherd is still a great working breed dog. She obedient and fearless, good-natured with people and other dogs, but actively defends his flock. She is smart, active, strong and beautiful.

The dog is medium sized, muscular, strong and agile.
Temperament
Polish Lowland Sheepdog is not recommended for owners in which dog for the first time. The breed is aggressive towards dogs of the same gender and not recommended for houses with cats or other small pets. The dog was used as working breed and was never intended to be home to animals. Boredom leads them to destructive behavior.
The breed is obedient, intelligent, loving, loyal and sensitive. Is devoted family, but careful with strangers.
Training
The breed is easily trained. Polish Lowland Sheepdog loves physical exercises and organized activities. Early socialization and obedience is a must. Training should be done with firmness, justice and consistency.
A haircut
The dog needs a weekly brushing to prevent tangling of wool. The dirt that clings to the coat on the legs must be deleted. Careful combing of wool is necessary, according to at least twice a week.
Care
The dog is resistant to bad weather. She requires a lot of physical exercise every day and prefers a cooler climate but can adapt to higher temperatures.
