So, ragamafin is like a side branch of this breed, moreover, Ann Baker was in charge of breeding – the breeder who created the ragdoll breed. Ragamuffin substantially differs from ragdoll primarily in its size, since it is significantly larger. For this, crossing was carried out with Turkish Angora, Burmese cats, Himalayans, Persians and domestic long-haired cats.

This is a relatively new breed that does not have wide distribution in the world, and therefore, in Ukraine, a cat ragamuffin is rare. They are much like their brothers ragdoll, however, still have significant differences. Nevertheless, since the breed is relatively new, not all feline associations recognize her. Among those who give their recognition to cats Ragamuffin, American Cat Lovers Association, Federation Cat Lovers, United Cat Organization, and Association cat lovers, she recognized the breed in February 2011.

Description
