Very beautiful birds replenished the population of the mini zoo at correctional colony No. 4 in the village of Fornosovo (Leningradskaya region). The leadership of the colony acquired three teenage chicks white peacocks.
In the regional department of the Federal Penitentiary Service reported that a family of six has been living in the colony’s zoo since 2006 unusual Asian peacocks, a great addition to them will be white babies when they grow up.
White peacocks are considered special, sacred birds in India, the national symbol of which they are. Sincerely in the East believe that they bring good luck.
