On the Baikal island of Olkhon, shamans solemnly slaughtered ram. This important ritual action should calm the element – stop fires and floods in Siberia.
In the magical rite of tailagan (sacrifice) participated several dozen shamans from different regions of Russia. To to appease the raging spirits, a ram was sacrificed to them. Then, calling for luck on Siberian land, the shamans committed special ritual actions – they walked in circles and beat in diamonds.
Participants of the event are convinced that in this way they managed propitiate spirits and well-being will return to the people of Siberia. Recall that this year shamans already made a sacrifice in the good of Russia, but five camels were burnt that time.
