A team of specialists from Wakatobi National Park and a group of WWF scientists have discovered the body of a sperm whale on the shore hood islands.
According to the data provided, in the stomach of a marine inhabitant at least 6 kg of eaten plastic waste were found: 115 cups, 4 bottles, 25 bags, 2 rubber sandals

Experts cannot yet say with confidence that the sperm whale died of undigested waste. The animal was buried on Tuesday, 20 November.
