Rangers in Australian wildlife park recorded on video the first walk of the meerkat kids and posted a video on the Internet.
Five kids are still very small and fit in the hand, but already take an active interest in everything around. They still go bad and see, but curiosity prevails over inexperience, and mischievous animals scatter around. Did not go unnoticed even group of operators.
Despite its tiny size, meerkats have a good appetite. They probably want to grow faster and take pride of place in clan.
Meerkats are easy to tame. Recently they have been popular among city dwellers as pets. Animals remind cats with their love for secluded places. For example, in South Africa meerkats are kept at home by local residents, thereby protecting their home from poisonous snakes.
