An emu bird escaped from a private farm in Barcelona.
Police officers rode out to catch the fugitive. Running away from pursuers, a large bird died from received stress.
The chase hit the outdoor surveillance camera. In the video, two the police are catching up with an emu running away in fear. First on frames seen how they pressed him to the sidewalk. And after a couple of minutes the bird is already lay lifeless under the coverlet.
Local zoodefenders decided to figure out where the emu came from and who its owner. They asked local authorities to establish, on legal whether the owner held the rights of an exotic bird.
