A new educational project is working in the Murmansk region. Nikelsky a pet shelter is training young dog handlers from with their pets as part of the shelter charity event of good”.
The project will be useful for both children and animals – it is addressed schoolchildren and aims to teach them kindness and responsibility for “smaller brothers.” In turn, animals with a difficult fate will receive such socialization necessary for them and new friends. Many dogs were very stressed before contact with children. and didn’t even allow themselves to be touched – now they are ready and They want to communicate, they know the basic teams.
Now in the care of the city shelter is about one hundred animals. They meet young people three times a week. by trainers, and it looks like some of the pets are already found the owners – the children will take them home.
