Stingrays most often inhabit the depths. But there are exceptions. So, huge animals were spotted in the Canaries.

Near one of the most popular beaches of the Canary Islands tourists met stingrays. Big sea animals swam very close to people. Vacationers did not even know that the ramps hiding in the sand, almost under their feet.

In general, this species is not dangerous to humans – the first bracken usually don’t attack. However, stingrays can be protected. For example, sting with a poisonous spike located on the tail, if on them to step on. Such an injection will cause edema, cramps and possible infection attachment.
