Belarusian breeders see great prospects in breeding hybrid breeds of pigs. The experimental training ground has become pig-breeding complex in Zhodino.
Breeders have been working on hybrids for several years now – highly productive, hardy and stress-resistant animals. For seven breeds were selected, three of which are of Belarusian origin.
Modern technology ensures rapid progress from concept to the result, and employees of the Zhodino breeding plant (Minsk region) proudly show new generation piglets that designed to make Belarusian livestock competitive on world market. The program is considered a priority and receives great support at the presidential level.
