The last beast died in 1936 from old age. 3 years before Australian naturalist David Fley filmed a wolf living in a private at the zoo, on video. Then there was only a black and white film, therefore it was not possible to capture the beast in color. However later 86 years of technology have recreated the natural look animal.
Marsupial wolves inhabited the island of Tasmania and became extinct due to several reasons: disease, competition with other predators, climate change, human extermination.
