Since the beginning of the first half of 2018 in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous the district managed to vaccinate almost 36% of the total number of reindeer. This writes the local “Komsomolskaya truth”.
Almost 235 thousand deer – so many animals have; e received a life-saving vaccine against anthrax this year. All doses vaccines are purchased from the money allocated by the federal budget for fight against the disease. Over the past two weeks in Yamal instilled almost 83 heads.
To implement the reindeer vaccination plan in seven municipalities of the Yamal region have field vaccinations teams from local veterinary services.
The grafted deer are marked with special tags. In stock of the region there are about seven hundred thousand doses of vaccines, and another 650 thousand need to be vaccinated deer.
